What skins are?
Tracker 3.x operates with so called skins. In simpler words your desktop can have any kind of appearance and behaviour which is defined by the skin. Skin contains all interface elements, e.g. backgrounds, as many desktop pages as needed, buttons with any look-and-feel and commands, etc.
