SmartSecure is the ultimate tool to protect your data from unauthorized use! The program secures your data and allows you to personalize your device by showing owner information when the cover opens.
Most PDA and smartphone users have sensitive or confidential data on their
device. Controlling access to this data can be a problem. Especially PDAs
and smartphones are highly vulnerable to theft or unauthorized use.
Sometimes losing the device is nothing compared to the possibility that
someone will use your data.
With SmartSecure you can be sure that no one will have access to your data
unless you allow them to!
How to start
Program can be started and controlled from the Control Panel.
SmartSecure features:
Security:
- Intelligent password protection with many options (Asking password on
every cover open, once an hour, once in three hours, once in 6 hours, once
in 12 hours, once a day and never)
- All passwords are stored in encrypted view.
- The password can be up to 16 characters long (numbers and letters) for device protection.
- SmartSecure daemon is protected from killing by Ctrl-Chr-Shift-K or by
various TaskMan
- When a security violation has appeared, the system will immediately be
restarted to prevent access to the data.
- Auto disabling and locking serial port when showing password screen to
disable access to your important data from Desktop PC. Optional.
- You can define a hotkey to immediately lock your device with
SmartSecure.
Personalize your device with SmartSecure:
- Fully customizable password screen (ability to setup background picture
and enter owner information appearing in any place and any colour on
password screen)
- Plays selected sounds when device cover is opening and closing
